Experience swedish fruitwine culture in Bergslagen!

We receive visitors throughout the year. We present the company history and products. You will also get an insight in fruitwine production. Visitors also have an opportunity to shop in our vinery shop. We accept groups up to 50 people.

A guided tour takes about 45 minutes.

Grythyttan Vin is located in a region called "Bergslagen" in Central Sweden. In the Middle Ages the mining industry was booming here. Today the mining industry is almost gone, but relics and remains (some still in good condition), remind visitors of yesteryears.

Taste and buy our fruitwine products

Tastings can only take place if the visitors themselves bring the fruitwines to the winery (swedish law demands it). We gladly lead the tastings and provide what is required.

A tasting takes about 30 minutes.

Swedish wineries do not have the legal right to sell fruitwine to consumers. Visitors are requested to apply for fruitwine at the nearest monopoly liquor stores "Systembolaget". They are situated in Hällefors 5 km north (route 244), Nora 45 km southest (route 244), and Filipstad 30 km west (route 63).
